GUIDES & TIPS · WITH CARMEN
Luvana began with the conversations people trusted me to have.
Over the years, individuals and couples have reached out to me with questions about toys, intimacy, and exploring something new. Sometimes they wanted a recommendation. Sometimes they just wanted someone they could ask without feeling embarrassed.
Because of my past career, my experience, and how openly I speak, people feel comfortable coming to me. That trust means a lot to me, and I take it seriously.
So many chapters, one very personal purpose
Some of you have known me since my years in the adult film industry. Others found me through social media, comedy, or theater. And some of you are meeting me here for the first time. However you arrived, I’m happy you’re here.
My life has taken me through many different chapters. After retiring from adult films, I went to cosmetology school and worked as a hairstylist. Then came motherhood, and I stepped into life at home with my daughter and later my son. When I returned to social media and began acting and producing theater with my now-fiancé, I found my way back to an audience that still remembered me.
Through those changes, people kept coming to me with personal questions. I love that you trust my judgment and feel comfortable asking me things that can be difficult to say out loud. I wanted to give that trust a home.
That is how Luvana began. I wanted a place where I could share the toys I love, explain the differences, and help you feel more comfortable choosing something for yourself. A place where curiosity is welcome, whether you’re exploring alone or with someone you love.
Experience, curiosity, and no judgment
I love toys. I’ve used them for years, and I enjoy helping people understand their options and discover what feels right for them.
There’s no judgment here. Whether you’re buying your first toy, exploring on your own, or looking for something to share with a partner, you deserve to feel welcome asking questions.
My experience is part of what I bring to Luvana, but I also want to keep learning. That’s why I’m continuing my education in sexual wellness and working toward becoming a sex coach. I want to build on my experience so I can support these conversations with more knowledge and understanding.
Let’s make it easier to talk about pleasure
For something so personal and human, pleasure still carries so much shame. People can feel uncomfortable saying what they enjoy, asking for something different, or admitting they’re unsure where to start.
I especially want women to feel comfortable having those conversations. There shouldn’t be pressure to reach orgasm on someone else’s timeline—or embarrassment about needing something different. I want there to be room to talk openly about communication, changing bodies, menopause, and the questions people sometimes keep to themselves.
We don’t all experience pleasure the same way. You deserve space to discover what works for you.
On your own or together
You don’t need a partner to explore, and being in a relationship doesn’t mean you should already have everything figured out.
To me, toys can be part of getting to know yourself or sharing something new with a consenting partner. There’s no competition and nothing to prove. You get to choose what you’re comfortable with, at your own pace.
That’s why I created Luvana: to help people explore and enjoy intimacy with more confidence, more communication, and less shame.
I want you to feel comfortable being curious. Comfortable asking. Comfortable being yourself.
